Idea

Article Abstract:

Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants' IDEA is a micro-computer interrogation program for the analysis of organizational data. The system uses the windows format for each of its operations and requires little computer literacy. The only complication lies in the definition of the target file. Auditors need to know the file and field structure. IDEA is not command based, and users must follow all steps. The system runs on IBM 386 series machines.
