The area of glenoid asymmetry identified as important contribution to shoulder strength during pushing and pulling in coronal plane

Article Abstract:

The area of glenoid asymmetry is a geometric parameter that is a good indicator of shoulder strength and helps in understanding the mechanisms of musculoskeletal disorders. A study of one-handed abduction and adduction in a coronal plane was conducted providing better biomechanical basis for joint modeling and considering articular geometry during designing of workplaces.

Repetitive task indicator as a tool for assessment of upper limb musculoskeletal load induced by repetitive task

Article Abstract:

Reduction of the musculoskeletal disorders is connected with developing methods to enable the assessment of musculoskeletal load, and determine the criteria of permitted load. A study conducted to find relation between factors describing activities performed, which would result in a minimum musculoskeletal load on the worker is presented.
