Covering the cost of school fees

Article Abstract:

The cost of a child's schooling in the private sector can amount to 100,000 pounds sterling in the UK, and parents should start financial planning early in order to be able to afford this. They can use a range of capital growth investment vehicles. With-profit endowment policies can provide a good yield but they are inflexible and parents' circumstances may change. Equity funds can provide a higher degree of flexibility. Draw-down loans allow funds to be taken when needed. Parents can also remortgage their homes.
