The key to PRP's low rating

Article Abstract:

The performance-related pay (PRP) system involves compensating employees commensurate to their performance based on certain factors such as job ability, attitude and attendance. This payment system can attract highly skilled workers, distinguish the top performers from the inefficient ones, identify specific areas where employees need training, and develop a work environment that encourages participation among employees. However, PRP also has certain flaws that may nullify its many advantages. Chief among these flaws is the difficulty of objectively assessing performance. Employee perceptions of biased or subjective appraisal may lead to demotivation, underproductivity and disinterest in organizational goals. The issue of consistency and fairness must first be addressed before PRP can prove its effectivity in boosting the motivation of employees.

Automating the sales presentation can achieve amazing results. The telecomputer was created to handle telemarketing needs in an automated environment.
