The pain and profit of training Institute students

Article Abstract:

Companies that have stoppedtraining chartered accounting students are recognizing the need to resume training in view of the failure of these students in accounting examinations. More importantly, qualified people are needed to ensure a company's succession now that the middle management layer has been eliminated in many organizations.Financing a chartered student's link study course with tutors can cost a company around 1,400 pounds sterling a year. These students would require about10 weeks' study leave a year with salary, leaving them with about 1,100 hours to render service to the firm. If starting salary is around 10,000 pounds a year, it is theoretically possible for the firm to recoup the costs of the chartered students' training by charging 11 pounds an hour for these students' services.
