Various issues considered for amendment in the 2004 Finance Bill are discussed. Some of them include measures for small owner-managed companies, removal of the proposal providing tax advantages using trusts, enhancement of the existing tax breaks for amateur sports clubs and changes to Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), the existing Venture Capital Trust (VCT) and Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), are highlighted.
