The values of restructuring in emerging economies: the case of the Czech Republic

Article Abstract:

The effect of restructuring on firm value in an emerging economy, using a sample of newly privatized Czech firms is examined. Studies indicate that in Czech economy, restructuring a firm had the effect of reducing its value.
