Three US states launch biotech seed funds

Article Abstract:

Pennsylvania, Indiana and New Jersey launched the seed of venture funds to invest in local life science startups and these funds will help to fill the 'development gap' that is the lack of money available to transform ideas into new companies which could eventually attract venture capitalist (VC) money. The development gap is widening because VCs are raising more money to invest in the biotech industry.

The Bayh-Dole system has altered the US economy in relation to the global economy and the other countries are also planning to do a similar thing. The thoughts and rules of the Bayh-Dole system are very much distinct from that of the cultural and structural modifications which support the change in technology.
