Time for a shake-up, city tells Redland

The company may be forced to sell its aggregates business and divide the group, although chief executive Robert Napier claims it is a priority to improve the aggregates businesses, with the possible sale of the French aggregates division. The company is also seeking involvement in joint ventures with other aggregates producers in the UK.

The company's profit is forecast at 50 million pounds sterling for full-year 1996.
