Trade shows pressure Chicago

Article Abstract:

Some trade show groups are threatening to leave McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, unless management resolves certain problems. The trade show operators, including the National Marine Manufacturers Assn, the Radiological Society of North America and the National Housewares Manufacturers Assn, are frustrated over an alleged lack of cooperation in efforts to deal with high labor, hotel and transportation costs. The three organizations are confident to pull out of McCormick Place due to the availability of similar venues in central Florida.
