Waiting for the upturn

Article Abstract:

The Philippine real estate industry has been adversely affected by an oversupply of residential and office buildings. Real estate developers specializing in condominiums for the low- and mid-price markets also have been hurt by oversupply. The housing market has been hurt by interest rates as high as 24%. Real estate analysts believe that demand for low-priced housing will buoy the industry and that the industry will undergo consolidation.
