What a performance

Article Abstract:

Assessing the performance of portfolio managers may be difficult, and one aid is the Cantrade Calculator. This provides a free service with over 3,000 subscribers. Investors can assess performance taking inflation and cash deposit returns into account, in addition to a benchmark provided by the calculator. The WM Co also provides data on performance and is seeking to expand the number of portfolio managers involved. Capel-Cure Myers Capital Management is another UK company measuring performance.

A bit of this, a bit of that

Article Abstract:

Private client providers can assess clients' pensions needs along with their other portfolio requirements, though they tend not to provide pensions products apartment from Self-Invested Personal Pensions (Sipps). A number of brokers and banks dealing with private clients offer Sipps, which are potentially unbindled so may be especially appropriate for private clients. Sipps may in practice offer less flexibility than they are able to, especially Sipps from life insurers.
