Women mentoring women: tapping the wisdom in networks to navigate career obstacles and opportunities

Article Abstract:

Author Sylvia Ann Hewlett, Delta Dental of Minnesotta CEO and president Sheila Riggs and Coors Brewering Company strategy officer Lynn Utter give their advice on career change. There is a need to evaluate the prospective organization and culture, and for women to form support networks for other women. The importance of having a social network and a woman mentor for the rising female executive is discussed.
