The regulations, laws and procedural adjustments of General Motors (GM) company right from the time of passage of Sarbanes-Oxley act are discussed along with the evaluation of GM's governance standards and the management under the board of directors. Owing to its innovative and effective governance practices, the GM Company won the Treasury & Risk Management's first annual corporate governance award.
