For the National Association of Credit Management, 1983, was a successful year. Membership was at an all-time high. Several associations installed computers. Local association manuals were distributed. A legislative conference was held. Association publications were in abundence. The annual credit congress was well-attended.

$500 Million or More?

Article Abstract:

Frauds are increasing against credit managers and their companies. Losses are estimated as high as $500 million per year. Business credit fraud is increasing as is the number of fences in operation. Various efforts to combat this trend are described.
