Attending to the business of career center professionals: an initiative

Article Abstract:

Career center professionals in the US can derive significant benefits from working together. This is recognized by the pilot Career Services Institute scheme, which in Jun 1998 will hold one and one-half day events at three West Coast sites. These will aim to boost dialogue between career center professionals and intensify training and development. It is hoped that these events will allow career center professionals to sharpen up their professional skills and to learn from each other about how to improve the services they offer.
