Corporations grow their own best employees at corporate universities

Article Abstract:

Companies such as the Ford Motor Co., the Southern Co. and Motorola have opened their own corporate universities to make their employees more competitive and competent. Experienced employees possess the intelligence to learn new technical skills, know the company culture and can fit psychologically into the company. A good corporate university must design its programs with business strategies, should be supported by management and should integrate learning with the job.
