It's all worth the effort

Article Abstract:

Accounting students at North Carolina State University are required to take a career planning course during their last year in college. ACC 300R has generated enthusiastic responses from students who have taken it, since it provides them with the necessary information for entering the job market. The accounting faculty supports the course by contacting placement centers and potential employers. A 90% employment rate has been reported among graduates within six months of graduation.

Winning the drug war isn't so hard after all

Article Abstract:

Harm reduction is a response to the US drug problem that may work. The focus of this strategy is to accept that drugs are a part of life and to try and rehabilitate those who are addicted. This treatment oriented approach is likely to be more effective in lowering drug abuse statistics.
