Combined Ab initio computational and solid-state (super 17)O MAS NMR studies of crystalline P(sub 2)O(sub 5)

Article Abstract:

A relative complete description of the (super 17)ONR parameters for h-P(sub 2)O(sub 5)-is obtained with the combined use of (super 17)O MAS NMR at multiple magnetic field strengths along with the 2DMQMAS and STMAS NMR experiments. These results with a well-defined crystal structure provide experimental verification of the ab initio theoretical predictions for the three different polymorphs of P(sub 2)O(sub 5).
