Copper-catalyzed radiolytic reduction of CO2 to CO in aqueous solutions

Article Abstract:

The study was done on the radiolysis of aqueous solutions containing CO2 and Cu(II) ions under reducing conditions leading first to reduction of Cu(II) and then the formation of CO. The results show that the (super dot)CO2(super -) radical was produced radiolytically by reaction of Co2 with eaq(super -) or by reaction of formate ions with H(super dot) and (super dot) OH radicals and photochemically by reaction of format with the acetone triplet.

Design of a membrane fluorescent sensor based on photo-cross-linked PEG hydrogel

Article Abstract:

The experiment was done where a polymeric hydrogel was made photochemically for the fluorescent detection of copper ions. The results showed that the designed membrane sensor showed a superior selectivity toward copper ions as demonstrated by epifluorescence imaging.

Reactions of electrons on the surface of gamma-Al2O3. a pulse radiolytic study with 0.4 MeV electrons

Article Abstract:

The radio analysis of gamma-Al2O3 produces electrons and positive holes. The two-dimensional kinetics of these species on the surface has also been highlighted.
