Delamination of Ti-MWW and high efficiency in epoxidation of alkenes with various molecular sizes

Article Abstract:

A new titanosilicate named Del-Ti MWW is prepared by delaminating the lamellar precursor of Ti-MWW, which is postsynthesized from highly deboronated MWW zeolite with the assistance of cyclic amine. The amount of organic base used for supporting surfactant in swelling the layered structure should be controlled carefully to delaminate efficiently without the collapse of the structure.

The three-dimensional structure of the titanium-centered active site during steady-state catalytic epoxidation of alkenes

Article Abstract:

A variety of models are proposed to study the steady-state structure of the Ti(super IV)-centered active site. The study yields a quantitative three-dimensional picture of the six-coordinated Ti(super IV)-centered active site (in Ti/SiO2 catalysts) during production of epoxides from alkenes in the presence of hydroperoxide as oxidants.

Methanol adsorption and reactivity on clean and hydroxylated anatase(101) surfaces

Article Abstract:

The adsorption and reactivity of methanol on TiO2 anatase(101) surfaces are studied through first-principles total energy calculations and Car-Parrinello molecular dynamics simulations. Further, the effects of different methanol coverages up to one monolayer and different surface oxidation states are investigated.
