Development of near-infrared 35fs laser microscope and its application to the detection of three- and four-photon fluorescence of organic microcrystals

Article Abstract:

A home-built cavity-dumped chromium:forsterite laser was used as light source for the development of the femtosecond near-infrared laser microscope to detect the multiphoton fluorescence of organic microcrystals. The application of this system explained the association of simultaneous three- and four-photon absorption processes with the production of the excited state for perylene and anthracene microcrystals, respectively.

Assembling and orientation of polyfluorenes in solution controlled by a focused near-infrared laser beam

Article Abstract:

A study is carried out on the ordered fibril- and particle-like assemblies of poly(2,7,-(9,9-bis(2-ethylhexyl)fluorene)) that can be formed by photon force of a focused near-infrared laser beam. It is demonstrated that the length and width of the assemblies can be controlled by the irradiation time, the laser power, the concentration of the solution, and the convection rate in the solution.

Fluorescent doughnut-like assembling of wire-type dendrimers depending on their generation numbers and degrees of polymerization

Article Abstract:

The self-assembled structures by evaporation of tetrahydrofuran (THF) solution of wire-type dendrimers are studied. Polarization and local fluorescence measurements at some parts of doughnuts and particles are demonstrated.
