Diffusive transport across an interface

Article Abstract:

A study was undertaken to examine the mechanisms of material diffusion across the interface with particular emphasis on the influence of the interface permeability on the transport characteristics. Two particular types of diffusion were considered for the study, namely, the one-dimensional diffusion in a stepwise potential and the three-dimensional diffusion under a square-well potential. Results revealed that the transport characteristics were independent of the permeability at asymptotically extended times.

Mechanism of molecular control of recombination dynamics in dye-sensitized nanocrystalline semiconductor films

Article Abstract:

It is suggested that exponential stage of recombination kinetics in dye-sensitized nanocrystalline TiO2 can be observed because of the Coulomb trap effect. The model predicts that at long times the slow exponential decay curve for the dye should become dispersive and coverage with the decay curve for the other dye.

Stochastic model for photodyanmics in multichromophoric conjugated polymers

Article Abstract:

A stochastic model of triplet exciton dynamics in multichromophoric conjugate polymers (CP) is described and analyzed. The model focuses on the evolution of a discrete statistical distribution of triplets in isolated polymer molecules and allows for the determination of the triplet-triplet annihilation rate.
