Dynamic scaling of polymer gels comprising nanoparticles

Article Abstract:

Dynamic light scattering (DLS) is used to measure the soft poly(methyl-methacrylate) (PMMA) and polyacrylamide (PA) polymer gels, which are prepared with trapped bodies. The results have shown that the time-dependent diffusion coefficients calculated from the correlation functions change from a free diffusion regime at short times to an anomalous subdiffussive regime at long times.

Nanoreactors based on amphiphilic uracilophanes: self-organization and reactivity study

Article Abstract:

The self-assembly of newly prepared amphiphilic pyrimidinic macrocycles (AMPs) of dimeric structure as nanoreactors for the hydrolysis of phosphonic acid esters is demonstrated. The kinetic study of AMPs reveal a minor rate effect of the AMP-1 based systems.
