Electrical conductivity of supercooled aqueous mixtures of trehalose with sodium chloride

Article Abstract:

The viscosity and electrical conductivity of aqueous solutions of trehalose and other saccharides containing 1:1 electrolytes are measured. A decrease in the molar conductivity of each electrolytes with increasing viscosity is less than the predicted by Walden's rule is observed.

Predictive molecular model for the thermodynamic and transport properties of triacylglycerols

Article Abstract:

A force field capable of describing the density and heat of vaporization of triglycerides is presented. It is concluded that modifying the stiffness of the chains of the triglycerides can significantly change the viscosity.
