GERMANY: LINDE TO SUPPLY ROSENTHAL WITH OZONE

Article Abstract:

In Germany, the technical gases division of Linde AG is to supply the pulp mill Zellstoff- und Papierfabrik Rosenthal in Blankenstein with oxygen and ozone. Linde is investing more than DM 10mn in building the supply systems, which are to be put into operation in the autumn of 1999. Rosenthal is the first German pulp mill to be equipped with ozone bleach. The oxygen plant is supplied by Linde and the ozonizing plant by Wedeco Schmidding Ozontechnik.

Aventis baute in S dkorea High-Tech-Fabrik fr Clariant

Article Abstract:

The research and technology company Aventis, which belongs to German Hoechst group, set up a new plant for Clariant Industries Korea Ltd in Ansung, South Korea. Under extremely high purity requirements, the high tech factory is to produce purest chemicals to be used in the production of computer chips. In the past, Aventis already handled other Clariant investments for subsidiaries in Thailand, Indonesia and China.
