Evaluation of the charge-collection efficiency of dye-sensitized nanocrystalline TiO2 solar cells

Article Abstract:

Research was conducted to assess the charge-collection efficiency of dye-sensitized nanocrystalline TiO2 solar cells using intensity modulated photovoltage spectroscopy and intensity modulated photocurrent spectroscopy. Three models for examining the relation between the ratio of the time constants for charge recombination and charge recombination and the charge-collection efficiency were taken into account. Results demonstrate that expressions are derived for measuring the time constants from the steady-state electron concentration profile.

Initial photochemistry of bilirubin probed by femtosecond spectroscopy

Article Abstract:

The performance of time-resolved fluorescence and absorption measurements in bilirubin and time-resolved fluorescence measurements on bilirubin model compounds in different solvents is discussed. Findings reveal very fast relaxation to the lower excitonic state after excitation of bilirubin.
