In 1998 Elf Atochem's Ato Findley plant, based in Oise registered a 6% increase production. It produces vinyl and polyurethane emulsions and glues, resins and metallic soaps amongst other things. Staffing levels remained practically stable, and investments amounted to FFr 10mn, in particular for road infrastructures.
