Highly efficient formation of visible light tunable TiO (sub 2-x) N (sub x) photocatalysts and their transformation at the nanoscale

Article Abstract:

In the study conducted it shows that, at room temperature extending further into the nanometer regime to produce catalytically active TiO (sub 2-x) N (sub x) nanoparticles that absorb well into the visible and near-infrared region. Speculate that this effect may lead to the significant reduction in nitrogen uptake and photocatalytic activity for the acetate-treated samples relative to TiO (sub 2-x) N (sub x) and the corresponding chloride and nitrate-treated samples.

Characterization of a carbon-nitrogen network solid with NMR and high field EPR

Article Abstract:

A solid-state NMR study of a paracyanogen-like solid utilizing (sub 13)C- (sub 150N adiabatic-passage Hartmann-Hahn cross polarization (APHH-CP) to perform dipolar filtering is described. NMR and EPR data may be useful for optimizing CN-polymer samples as potential precursors for ultrahard carbon nitrogen solids is concluded.

Self-diffusion of ions at different time scales in a porous and charged medium: The Nafion Membrane

Article Abstract:

The self-diffusion coefficients of N(CH3)(sub 4)(super +) ions in a cation-exchange membrane, the Nafion are measured at different time scales. The radiotracer method confirms the NMR results at long time scales that the diffusion does not depend on electrolyte concentration.
