Statics and dynamics of polymer-wrapped colloids

Article Abstract:

The complex between a colloidal particle and a semiflexible polymer chain that wraps around it is studied. The dependence of wrapped chain lengths on absorption energy and chain persistence length is established and chain persistence length distribution of wrapped-sphere positions are obtained.

Shape-controlled synthesis of copper colloids with a simple chemical route

Article Abstract:

A simple chemical method is introduced to produce copper particles, which has the ability to shape the particle without using any capping agent or template. The reactant concentration and temperature exerted a strong influence on the shape of the copper particles.
