Infrared spectroscopic study of the formation of reactive silica by pyrolysis in vacuo of a trimethylsiloxylated sample
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the pyrolysis of a trimethylsiloxylated (TMS) silica are discussed. During the thermal decomposition of a TMS silica in air or in vacuo, similar spectra of the solids were seen in the methyl stretching range.

Amine dendrimers as templates for amorphous silicas
Article Abstract:
It has been established that quasi-spherical dendritic structures can be used as porogens. A number of questions remain, including whether more dense dendrimer templates could be able to resist contraction upon heating.
