Inherent structures in the NaCl-CsCl system at the boundary between crystallization and glass formation

Article Abstract:

The data on the energetic and configurations of inherent structures for various compositions in the NaCl-CsCl system, which are dominated by long-range ionic interactions is presented. The results reveal that a minimum is found in the pressure-volume relation for the inherent structures obtained for isobarically cooled configurations, which closely tracks the glass transition of the simulated system.

Linear exp-6 isotherm for compressed molten cesium over the whole liquid range including metal-nonmetal transition and T(sub c)

Article Abstract:

The linear exp-6 interaction potential is applied to the underlying interplay between the characteristics of soft repulsive interaction in dense, large attractive interaction in expanded liquid alkali metal and the observed thermodynamic properties. The application exp-6 evaluates the range of accuracies in the construction of the linear isotherm.

I. Cesium leaching in CsA and CsX zeolites

Article Abstract:

The exchange of sodium zeolite X and sodium zeolite A with cesium solutions is described. The presence of cesium cations in different sites of zeolite networks is examined.
