Internal field switching in CdSe quantum dot films on Si

Article Abstract:

The study demonstrated how the direction of charge transport in nanocrystalline CdSe films in the absence of an electrolyte depends on the presence of a thin interlayer, nominally of Cd(OH)2 between the CdSe and a degenerate spectroscopy. From SPV and modified X-rat photoelectron spectroscopy measurements, it concluded that his phenomenon is due to relatively deep electron taps in the Cd(OH)2, which dominate the charge transport.

Charge overlap interaction in quantum dot films: Time dependence and suppression by cyanide adsorption

Article Abstract:

A study is carried out on the chemical bath deposited films of CdSe nanocrystals (<4 nanometers) that are shown to exhibit time-dependent spectral red shifts, caused by increasing overlap of the electron wave functions in adjacent nanocrystals. Details of the band gap increase due to cyanide adsorption on nominally uncoupled nanocrystals are described.

Fabrication and photoconductivity study of copper phthalocyanine/perylene composite with bulk heterojunctions obtained by solutions blending

Article Abstract:

Copper tetra-(octly-alkoxy-carbonyl)-pthalocyanine and 3,4,9,10-tetra-(octyl-alkoxy-carbonyl)-perylene attached with long alkyl chains by covalent bonds were synthesized. Atomic force microscopy demonstrated the formation of the bulk heterojunction structure in their cast-coated films.
