Is 2-D graphite an ultimate large hydrocarbon? II. Structure and energy spectra of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons with defects

Article Abstract:

Research is presented describing the theoretical study of the energy spectra and structure of four classes of polybenzenoid hydrocarbons with many carbon atoms, different defect states (Schottky, Tamm and chemisorption) and differing edge structures.

Joint theoretical and experimental characterization of the structural and electronic properties of poly (dioctylfluorene-alt-N-butylphenyl diphenylamine)

Article Abstract:

The results of a joint quantum-chemical and experimental characterization of the structural, electronic, and optical properties of an alternating fluorine-triphenylamine copolymer are presented. These results are compared with those from similar studies of polyfluorene.
