Polymer-functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes as lithium intercalation hosts
Article Abstract:
Multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) functionalized with a hyperbranched aliphatic polyester and two different poly(ethylene glycols) were synthesized by the reactions of carbonyl chloride groups on the surface of MWNTs and hydroxyl groups of polymers. Electrochemical intercalation of lithium in three materials was investigated with galvanostatic charge-discharge experiments.

Electrochemical growth of nickel hollow nanostructures on copper substrates
Article Abstract:
An electrochemical method is presented by which nickel (Ni) hollow nanoscale structures can be prepared. The electrochemical deposition was carried out on copper (Cu) substrates under galvanic conditions.
