Modeling of photovoltage and photocurrent in dye-sensitized titanium dioxide solar cells

Article Abstract:

The experiment was done by using two-dimensional simulations calculations and a detailed analysis of the nanocrystalline Titanium dioxide dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC) was performed. The results showed that higher photovoltages than those of the dark interfacial electrical potential difference can be obtained, contrary to a conventional p-n junction solar cell.

Theoretical calculations of the electronic absorption spectra of oxotitanium(IV) phthalocyanine in the solid state

Article Abstract:

The electronic absorption spectra of oxotitanium(IV) phthalocyanine (OTiPc) are theoretically calculated by considering three origins, exciton, charge transfer (CT) and molecular distortion. It is shown that photoconductive properties correlate well with intermolecular resonance integrals.
