Photoinduced electron transfer in porphyrin-oligothiophene-fullerene linked triads by excitation of a porphyrin moiety

Article Abstract:

Time-resolved fluorescence and absorption spectroscopic methods are used to investigate photoinduced charge-separation (CS) and recombination (CR) processes of porphyrin (H2P)-oligothiophene (nT)-fullerene (C60) linked triads (H2P-nT-C60, n=4, 8, and 12). Multifunctional roles of the nT's in the photoinduced processes of H2P-nT-C60 are disclosed.

Enhancement of the second harmonic response by adsorbates on gold colloids: the effect of aggregation

Article Abstract:

The measurements of the extinction profiles and hyper Rayleigh scattering (HRS) signal of gold colloidal sol in the presence of pyridine are presented. Results demonstrate the effect of pyridine on the enhancement of the HRS signal.
