SLOVAKIA: WEISHARDT INVESTS

Article Abstract:

Weishardt International, the French company, will put its second gelatine product production line into service in its Gelima plant in Slovakia. This unit, which is presently supplied by the Polish subsidiary of the company and by Romanian and Ukrainian establishments, will also be supplied by new subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and in Hungary. Its production capacity will be increased to 2,500 tonnes per year. Weishardt has invested FFr 50mn in this plant since 1994.
