Siting of mixtures in mordenite zeolites: (super 19)F and (super 129)Xe NMR molecular simulation

Article Abstract:

(Super 19)F and (super 129)Xe nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is used to study adsorption of CF(sub 4) and Xe in mordenite zeolites. The (super 129)Xe NMR work on siting in mordenite has concentrated on binary adsorption and the results provide a stringent test of molecular simulation of adsorption by providing molecular-level siting.

Equilibrium properties of a model electrolyte adsorbed in quenched disordered charged media: the ROZ theory and GCMC simulations

Article Abstract:

The mean activity of the adsorbed electrolyte, gamma+(sub -)1, relative to the value of the same quantity in the equilibrium bulk electrolyte was studied. The grand canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) method was applied to a party quenched ionic system and the predictions of the ROZ / HNC theory was critically tested.
