Solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance study of the microporous aluminophosphate AlPO4-41

Article Abstract:

Synthesis of highly crystalline aluminiphosphate molecular sieve (AlPO4-41) may be made possible through the use of dipropylamine as a templating medium. The spectra of such material has been found to manifest several resonances that are mainly located in the framework atom. It was also shown that the rehydration process of AlPO4 leads to the modification of unit cell parameters, specifically along the beta axis and gamma angle of these compounds.

Site discrimination in mixed-alkali glasses studied by cross-polarization NMR

Article Abstract:

The heteronuclear cross-polarization (CP) spectroscopy between two quadrupolar nuclear species is a good method for studying cation mismatch effects in mixed-alkali glasses. The results have provided the first direct experimental evidence for the proposed secondary mismatch concept invoked for describing the strong mixed-alkali effect (MAE) in the dilute foreign ion limit.

Structural role of fluoride in aluminophosphate sol-gel glasses: high-resolution double-resonance NMR studies

Article Abstract:

Advanced solid-state NMR techniques are used for investigating the local structures of Na-Al-P-O-F glasses, which are prepared by a novel sol-gel route. A comprehensive structural model is presented for these glasses based on the quantitative dipole-dipole coupling.
