Avoiding mixed signals

Article Abstract:

Agricultural operators need to examine the effectiveness of their global positioning system (GPS) signals and equipment. Trimble Navigation Ltd. sales and marketing manager, precision agricultural systems George Huber noted that any GPS system relies on the same kind of signal. However, the GPS system may produce inaccurate information due to the kind of differentially corrected signal received from satellites. The static test and the dynamic test can be used to verify the type of signal being received.
