Structural anomalies of Rb and Br ionic nanosolutions in hydrophobic slit-shaped solid space as revealed by the EXAFS technique

Article Abstract:

The hydrogen structure of RbBr electrolyte confined in slit-shaped nanospaces of carbon is determined by the extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) technique and related analysis. Rb-H2O distances, hydration numbers, and DW factors of NSNs reveal the presence of highly compressed structures of partial dehydration in the hydrophobic micropores.

Comparative study on pore structures of mesoporous ZSM-5 from resorcinol-formaldehyde aerogel and carbon aerogel templating

Article Abstract:

The study used resorcinol-formaldehyde aerogels of different mesoporosities templates for preparing bimodal zeolites of mesopores. It concluded that the mesorporous system of the finally obtained zeolites could be influenced by proper preparation of resorcinol-formaldehyde aerogels and carbon aerogels through solution chemistry.

Phenanthrene adsorption from solution on single wall carbon nanotubes

Article Abstract:

The phenanthrene adsorption from ethanol solution to the surface of single wall carbon nanotubes is characterized. The results have indicated that adsorption of phenanthrene is extremely improved in the case of nanotube purified with higher quality.
