Structures and properties of supramolecular assembled fullerenol/poly (dimethylsiloxane) nanocomposites

Article Abstract:

Supramolecular assembled fullerenol/poly(dimethylsiloxane) nanocomposites were prepared from the solution casting of the mixtures of multihydroxylated [60] fullerene (fullerenol) and bis(3-aminopropyl)-terminated poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS-di-NH2) in tetrahydrofuran at different molar ratios. Small-angle X-ray scattering results indicate that nanodomains of fullerenol aggregates are confined homogeneously in PDMS matrix.

Electrical and optical properties of fullerenol langmuir-blodgett films deposited on polyaniline substrates

Article Abstract:

It was reported that the synthesis of hydroxylated fullerene derivatives prepared to improving the ordering of Langmuir films at the air/water interface as well as the electrical properties of LB films were transferred to glass and semiconducting polyaniline subtrates. The different transfer ratios of LB films during up and down strokes suggest a large anistropy on the C (sub 60) (OH) (sub n) molecule.

Triazole-based magnetic Langmuir-Blodgett films: Paramagnetic to spin-crossover behavior

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to examine the behavior at the air-liquid interface of a series of metal(II) metallo-organic polymers of 4-octaecyl-1, 2,4-triazole. Interactions between those amphiphilic compounds and metal ions in the suphase result in the formation of stable monolayers and well-defined Langmuir-Blodgett films incorporating oligomeric metal(II)/triazole units.
