Silver colloid nanoparticles: Synthesis, characterization, and their antibacterial activity

Article Abstract:

A one-step simple synthesis of silver colloid nanoparticles with controllable sizes is described. The bactericidal properties of these nanoparticles to several Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria including multiresistant strains are successfully demonstrated.

Synthesis of ferromagnetic Mn-Pt nanoparticles from organometallic precursors

Article Abstract:

Manganese-Platinum alloy is a metallic antiferromagnet used in a spin-valve in a hard disk drive. In this study nanoparticles of Mn-Pt are synthesized by using organometallic precursors, the procedures of which are explained.
