Ultrafast time-evolution of the nonlinear susceptibility of hot carriers at the Ge(111)-GeO2 interface as probed by SHG

Article Abstract:

Hot carrier dynamics at the Ge(111)-GeO2 interface in the femosecond time scale was studied with the help of time-resolved second harmonic generation (SHG). A linear dependence of the change in SHG on the pump power was observed for the carrier density range of 3 X 10(super 18) to 2.2 X 10(super 19) cm(super -3).

Laser ablation synthesis of spindle-like gallium oxide hydroxide nanoparticles with the presence of cationic cetyltrimethylammonium bromide

Article Abstract:

The performance of laser ablation of gallium metal for the preparation of spindle-like GaOOH particles in aqueous solution is discussed. The development of the ellipsodial nanocrystals through a slow crystallization process due to the adsorption of the cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) is proposed.

Magnetic molecules at air/water interface

Article Abstract:

A structural study of a two-dimensional (2D) Langmuir film formed by the magnetic molecule Cr8O4(O2-CPh)16 is presented. It is undertaken to examine the feasibility of forming a single homogenous layer of Cr8 on water.
