Uncovering transport properties of 4,4'-bipyridine/gold molecular nanobridges

Article Abstract:

The fascinating connection between the chemical and the transport properties of 4,4'--bipyridine/gold nanobridges is addressed. Structural and electronic interpretations to the stepped dependence reported for the electronic transport of 4,4'--bipyridine as a function of the distance between the gold trips are provided.

Large-scale synthesis of high-quality double-walled carbon nanotubes by catalytic decomposition of n-Hexane

Article Abstract:

Large quantities of double-welled carbon nanotubes (DWNTs) were produced by catalytic decomposition of n-Hexane over Fe-Mo/MgO catalyst. It was observed that both HRTEM and Raman analysis indicated that the as-synthesized were of high quality.
