Van Diest Supply Co has developed Cornbelt BASE, an advanced ptent-pending szpray adjuvant with alkaline buffered methylated seed oil, nitrogen fertilizer slution with non-ionic surfactant and antifoam agent. It enhances retention and penetration of herbicides sprayed onto weed surfaces and buffers spray pH to minimize acid hydrolysis. It is ideally suited with many sugar beet herbicides when applying micro-rate technology when spray solution's optimum pH is neutral to slightly alkaline.

Kalo Inc has developed ENTRO Liquid, a buffering agent and acidifier, methylated seed crop oil and surfactant/fertilizer mix. It is designed for use with postemergence herbicides: Accent, Betamix, Pursuit and UpBeet. It minimizes acid hydrolysis while enhancing herbicide retention and penetration. The buffering and spray enhancing agent is a micro emulsion concentrate combining alkaline pH-buffered methylated seed oil with nitrogen-based fertilizer.
