Carbocationic alkene polymerizations initiated by organotransition metal complexes: an alternative, unusual role for soluble Ziegler-Natta catalysts

Article Abstract:

The author reviews the publications on the alkenes which may be polymerized into homopolymers via free-radical polymerization. The topics of interest include the carbocationic initiation of alkene polymerization and the utilization of the organotransition metal complexes which are Ziegler-Natta catalysts as carbocationic initiators.
