The authors review the publications on the weakly bound van der Waals complexes of pi-systems and their properties. The topics of interest include the theoretical methods, the salient results obtained from the ab initio calculations for different pi-complexes and the results obtained via empirical and semiempirical calculations for the larger pi-complexes.
