Article Abstract:

Recent advances in the area of partially solvated and unsolvated peptides and proteins are discussed with reference to intrinsic intramolecular interactions. Discussion on the role of vapor phase zwitterions, salt bridges, folding and hydration in proteins, Coulomb interactions, and unsolvated helices and sheets is presented.
